GMS Development Company, Inc. is a leading landscape architect and landscaping company in the San Gabriel Valley, specializing in natural-setting pools, spas, and living spaces, including horticulture and natural rock formations. Their primary market is individual high-end projects developed in concert with the landscape and architectural plan for new or extensively remodeled homes. GMS needed to improve their share of their highly competitive market and approached us for a small capability brochure for use at industry trade shows. Our previous work with them had developed their complete identity package. This new project highlighted the firm's design philosophy through custom photography and natural elements such as leaves and hand-made paper backgrounds. The entire effect was designed to convey the proper high-end feeling, yet warm, inviting, and natural. This project led to a related series of magazine and design showcase advertisements for GMS. Results GMs has had to increase the press run of this brochure after every show they've attended. So many are picked up, they keep running out! The strategy of specialized promotional materials and a targeted show presence has resulted in a substantial increase in new projects compared to previous years. We're very happy to have played a part in that success. |
